Job summary

LEARN is hiring a full-time Early Childhood Education Teacher for Creating Connections Early Learning Center in Waterford, CT. You will implement a high-quality program and build strong relationships with children and families.

You will lead developmentally appropriate activities, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with licensing, NAEYC guidelines, and health standards, while exceeding family engagement expectations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in ECE or related field with required credits.
• CPR/First Aid certification for infants and children.
• Medication administration and Epipen training completed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities for ages six weeks to three years.
• Observe, document progress, and communicate with families and staff.
• Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers.
• Maintain records in line with center policies and licensing.
• Attend 21 hours of early childhood workshops annually.
