Job summary

Jefferson County Public Schools is seeking an Instructional Assistant for Exceptional Child Education. The role supports students with disabilities and assists in implementing each student's IEP while maintaining a safe, structured learning environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with physical needs, attending ECE trainings, and supporting a positive classroom setting. Requires a high school diploma or GED and success on the Kentucky Paraeducator Assessment or 48 college hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or GED with ability to pass required exam.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be willing to assist students with disabilities.
