Job summary

Jefferson County Public Schools Field Elementary is seeking an ECE Instructional Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year, starting at 9:40am. This non-certified instructional support role assists students with disabilities and helps implement IEPs under supervision.

Salary is posted on the 2026-2027 schedule, with an hourly range of $24.52 to $26.96 and a 187-day/7-hour calendar. Minimum qualifications include a HS diploma, KPA/college hours, and a readiness for ECE in-service training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Passing score on the KPA or 48 college semester hours.
• Willingness and aptitude to work with students with disabilities.
• Physical ability to assist with physical needs of students.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing each student's individual education plan.
• Help establish and maintain a pleasant, safe, and structured learning environment.
• Display willingness and aptitude to work with students with disabilities.
• Attend district ECE in-service for professional growth.
