Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a qualified instructor to teach in the Early Childhood Care and Education program at Savannah Technical College, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats.

The role requires a Master's degree in ECE/Elementary Education (or related field with 18 graduate hours) and at least three years of relevant experience. The candidate will travel between campus locations in Savannah and Hinesville and report to the Department Head of Early Childhood Care and Education.

• Three years of work experience in Early Childhood Education within the past five years.
• Willingness to work at multiple campus locations and travel as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Early Childhood Care and Education program.
• Prepare and deliver lecture and/or lab course material in face-to-face and hybrid formats.
• Teach online, in Liberty County, and in Savannah.
• Deliver engaging classroom instruction aligned with program standards and student learning outcomes.
• Evaluate and record students' progress toward goals and objectives.
• Prepare and maintain required documentation and departmental reports.
• Travel between Savannah Technical College campus locations, including Hinesville and/or Savannah as assigned.
• Report to the Department Head of Early Childhood Care and Education.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Early Childhood Education and/or Elementary Education, or a master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in qualifying or related fields
• Three years of work experience in Early Childhood Education within the past five years
• Ability and willingness to work at multiple campus locations as assigned
• Excellent human-relations and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• May be required to submit a valid driver's license, proof of insurability, and/or driver’s history report for positions involving state travel
