Job summary

Med-Trans Corporation in Amarillo, TX is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to uphold safety and airworthiness of our EC135 fleet. The role focuses on maintenance, documentation, and coordinating with the Lead Technician to ensure timely, high-quality patient transport services.

Qualified candidates will have EC135 turbine maintenance experience, an A&P license, and knowledge of FAA regulations.

Qualifications

EC135 maintenance experience or equivalent.
Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance with at least 6 months in last 24 months.
Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
Valid State driver’s license.
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance planning.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests and document costs.
Document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures, complying with information security standards.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members using appropriate communication methods.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and operations team.
