Global Medical Response (Med-Trans) is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to oversee maintenance and safety of our rotor-wing fleet in the Poughkeepsie, NY area. The role focuses on EC135 airframes and timely, high-quality patient transport services.

The AMT will perform inspections, maintenance, inventory control, documentation, and interdepartmental coordination while upholding FAA standards and safety policies. On-site role with a strong emphasis on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• EC135 maintenance experience.
• Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with at least six months in last 24 months.
• Valid A&P license.
• Valid state driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
• EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records and planning.
• Must live within an hour of base.
• FAA drug and alcohol testing program compliance.
• Able to push/pull 100+ lbs.
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks and maintain equipment tracking log; place replacement requests and document expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information; comply with policies and information security standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Communicate effectively to coordinate with departments, vendors and team members.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and other AMTs and operations staff.
