East Lincoln Middle (322) in Iron Station, NC is hiring for an EC Teacher Assistant (separate setting) and a Sub Bus Driver. The dual-employment position is permanent, full-time, 10 months, 7.5 hours per day, with benefit eligibility including holidays, leave, retirement, and insurance.

The role supports students and teachers directly, performing clerical tasks and preparing instructional materials, while managing classroom activities and transportation needs for field trips and daily routes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must pass drug test, background check, and TB test prior to employment.
• Meet ESSA requirements: Associate degree or higher OR 30 college hours OR WorkKeys passing scores.
• Valid NC CDL and bus driver certification eligibility.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students and teachers.
• One-on-one and small group instruction to assist academics and behavior.
• Lead activities and reinforce lessons, assist with clerical tasks.
• Operate a school bus and ensure student safety on trips.
