Job summary

Domino Printing Sciences seeks an EC&I Engineer to own electrical, control/automation, and instrumentation systems at the Gurnee fluids plant. You will lead projects, specify new equipment, and support SCADA, PLC, and MES to improve line performance and manufacturing efficiency.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 2+ years in process control/automation, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering or similar field.
• Minimum 2 years in a similar EC&I/automation role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with process control, automation, PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation, and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Own Electrical, Control/Automation, and Instrumentation systems; improve line performance.
• Plan, manage and support equipment specification, installation, and commissioning projects.
• Provide day-to-day production and engineering support for SCADA, PLC, MES, and related systems.
• Collaborate with departments to source equipment and ensure proper installations.
• Prepare SOPs and work instructions for new equipment.
• Coach and mentor the engineering team and ensure adherence to safety and quality procedures.
