Job summary

Domino Amjet, the U.S. division of Domino Printing Sciences, seeks an EC&I Engineer in Gurnee, IL.

The role focuses on Electrical, Control/Automation, and Instrumentation systems, providing technical guidance to technicians and driving line performance and process optimization. The engineer will lead projects from specification through commissioning, support manufacturing control systems, and improve SCADA, PLC, and MES technologies across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar field.
• Experience with process control and automation (PLC, VSD, SCADA, Instrumentation & calibration, MCCs).
• At least 2 years in a similar role, preferably in chemical manufacturing.
• Project supervision including people and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Own Electrical, Control/Automation, and Instrumentation systems at the site.
• Lead, plan, manage and support engineering projects (equipment spec, design, install, commissioning).
• Provide day‑to‑day production and engineering support for SCADA, PLC, MES and related automation technologies.
