Responsibilities

MAJOR FUNCTION: Management of Instructional Time—prepare materials and keep students on task.
MAJOR FUNCTION: Management of Student Behavior—establish rules and monitor behavior.
MAJOR FUNCTION: Instructional Presentation—begin with review, present clearly, and use concrete examples.
MAJOR FUNCTION: Instructional Monitoring of Student Performance—check progress and keep records.
MAJOR FUNCTION: Instructional Feedback—provide prompt feedback on in-class and out-of-class work.
MAJOR FUNCTION: Facilitating Instruction—align objectives, learning strategies, and assessments.
MAJOR FUNCTION: Interacting Within the Educational Environment—fair treatment and collaboration.
MAJOR FUNCTION: Performing Non-Instructional Duties—comply with laws and engage in professional development.
