The candidate will collaborate with school staff, follow district policies, and contribute to an inclusive classroom environment while maintaining accurate records.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in education is required.
• Master’s degree in education is preferred.
• Valid NC Teaching license required.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education.

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with administration and educators to create the best educational environment for EC students.
• Follow established crisis procedures and emergency protocols.
• Administer and interpret individual educational testing (IEP).
• Use data to monitor progress toward academic and behavioral goals.
• Set clear objectives for academic and pro-social skills and design instruction.
• Modify curriculum to meet IEP goals and student needs.
• Employ positive behavior strategies and classroom management techniques.
• Meet with parents to discuss student progress and priorities.
