Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools in Charlotte, North Carolina seeks an EC Adapted Curriculum Teacher for EP/EOY 26-27 SY. This end-of-year position will implement instructional strategies aligned to IEPs and deliver group and individual instruction.

The role is a 10-month, full-time position reporting to the Principal, with immediate starting date and annual calendar in line with CMS. Bachelor’s degree and NC teaching license are required; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans and deliver instruction aligned to IEPs
• Collaborate with administration and educators to create inclusive environments
• Administer and interpret educational testing and use data to track progress
• Maintain records as required by law and district policy
• Meet with parents/guardians to discuss progress and priorities
