Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum and adapted for diverse learners.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials following TEA guidelines and student needs.
• Assess student progress and use results to inform instruction.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Coordinate with staff to set instructional goals and methods per district requirements.
• Plan and supervise instructional aides and volunteers as needed.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement.
• Foster a positive classroom environment and manage student behavior.
• Communicate professionally with parents and the school community.
• Participate in staff development and comply with regulations.
