Birch Tree Psychotherapy in Illinois is seeking an eating-disorder therapist for a hybrid, part-time or full-time role based in South Barrington or Loop. The position emphasizes HAES-aligned, weight-inclusive care and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates should hold an Illinois license (LCPC/LMFT/LCSW or equivalent), have 2+ years of eating-disorder experience, and be able to work 2–3 evenings or 1 weekend day weekly. Flexible schedule and strong referral network offered.

We are actively hiring for a part-time or full-time eating disorder therapist. This Hybrid role will be based out of our South Barrington or Loop office.

We are a small, clinician-owned practice with a strong reputation in eating-disorder treatment and a well-established referral network. Founded in 2012 by Dr. Catharine Devlin, she has spent more than a decade building relationships with therapists, physicians, treatment facilities, and other professionals who refer clients to us for specialized eating-disorder treatment.

We are looking for an Illinois-licensed therapist with at least two years of experience working with eating disorders who is firmly rooted in providing Health at Every Size® (HAES)-aligned, weight-inclusive care.

Qualifications:

• Illinois Licensed Clinical Psychologist, LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW (may also accept LSW, LCP or Post-Doc, if the candidate is a good fit).
• Has at least 2 years of experience treating eating disorders
• Has a strong interest in HAES-aligned, weight-inclusive eating-disorder care
• Enjoys collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Has experience and interest in working with diverse populations, particularly LGBTQ+ and size-diverse clients
• Can work at least 2-3 evenings or 1 weekend day a week.
