Job summary

Birch Tree Psychotherapy in Illinois is actively hiring for a part-time or full-time eating disorder therapist. This Hybrid role will be based out of our South Barrington or Loop office.

We are a clinician-owned practice with a strong reputation and an established referral network focused on specialized eating-disorder treatment. We seek an Illinois-licensed therapist with at least two years of experience, rooted in Health at Every Size (HAES) and weight-inclusive care, who enjoys collaboration,

Qualifications

• Illinois Licensed Clinician (LCPC/LMFT/LCSW or equivalent) with licensure.
• At least 2 years of experience treating eating disorders.
• Strong interest in HAES-aligned, weight-inclusive care.
• Enjoys collaborating in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with diverse populations (LGBTQ+ and size-diverse).
• Availability for 2–3 evenings or 1 weekend day per week.

We are actively hiring for a part-time or full-time eating disorder therapist. This Hybrid role will be based out of our South Barrington or Loop office.

We are a small, clinician-owned practice with a strong reputation in eating-disorder treatment and a well-established referral network. Founded in 2012 by Dr. Catharine Devlin, she has spent more than a decade building relationships with therapists, physicians, treatment facilities, and other professionals who refer clients to us for specialized eating-disorder treatment.

We are looking for an Illinois-licensed therapist with at least two years of experience working with eating disorders who is firmly rooted in providing Health at Every Size® (HAES)-aligned, weight-inclusive care.

Qualifications:

• Illinois Licensed Clinical Psychologist, LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW (may also accept LSW, LCP or Post-Doc, if the candidate is a good fit).
• Has at least 2 years of experience treating eating disorders
• Has a strong interest in HAES-aligned, weight-inclusive eating-disorder care
• Enjoys collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Has experience and interest in working with diverse populations, particularly LGBTQ+ and size-diverse clients
• Can work at least 2-3 evenings or 1 weekend day a week.
