Job summary

Branz Nutrition Counseling is a weight-inclusive outpatient practice seeking an RD/RDN to provide comprehensive nutrition assessments and collaborative care. The role supports intuitive eating and health at every size principles in a hybrid, clinic-based setting.

You will join a team dedicated to compassionate, evidence-based care across the lifespan, with opportunities to specialize in eating disorders and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential and active licensure in IL and/or MO.
• Knowledge of anti-diet and weight-neutral nutrition approaches.
• Strong collaboration and adaptability within a team.
• Empathy and genuine curiosity for each client's journey.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments and follow-up sessions.
• Create collaborative treatment plans aligned with client goals.
• Provide weight-inclusive nutrition counseling to clients and families.
• Incorporate medical nutrition therapy, psychoeducation, and mindfulness as appropriate.
• Communicate with multidisciplinary treatment teams.
• Complete thorough and timely documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and continuing education opportunities.

Job description

Branz Nutrition Counseling is a weight-inclusive outpatient nutrition practice providing compassionate, evidence-based care across the lifespan. Our team specializes in eating disorders, disordered eating, and general wellness while remaining grounded in Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size® principles. We are passionate about creating a supportive environment for both our clients and our clinicians and believe exceptional care starts with a healthy, supported team.

What You Will Do

• Maintain clinical expectations that support a growth mindset (both personally and within the practice)


• Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments and follow-up sessions, building a treatment plan collaboratively with yourexpert guidance and client goals


• Provide all foods fit and weight-inclusive focused nutrition counseling to clients and families


• Integrate a variety of skills, topics and evidenced-based approaches appropriately to support clients through their recovery and health journeys, including medical nutrition therapy and psychoeducation, skill support, intuitive eating principles, body image counseling, and mindfulness practices


• Communicate withmultidisplinary professionals on each clients' treatment teams


• Completethorough and timely documentation of client care


• Participate in team meetings, supervision,continuing educationopportunities


• Participate in professional community connection opportunities

What You Bring

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential throughthe Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)


• Licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in Illinois and/or Missouri


• Knowledge or a strong interest in practicing nutrition from anti-diet and weight neutral approaches


• Collaboration and adaptability within team settings


• Empathy and genuine curiosity for each client's unique journey withintheir relationships to food, body, andmovement
