Job description

Branz Nutrition Counseling

Branz Nutrition Counseling is a weight-inclusive, HAES®-aligned group nutrition practice serving clients in O'Fallon, IL and Kirkwood, MO, with virtual services available across licensed states. Our work is rooted in eating disorder prevention, treatment, and recovery, and we intentionally expand into other disease states, such as GI conditions, PCOS, diabetes, sports nutrition, and family nutrition, through an eating-disorder–informed, non-diet, compassionate framework.

This position is a W2 employee, full-time, salaried position with a bonus structure based on client caseload.

This role offers flexibility to work in a hybrid format, with 2-3 days per week in a shared office space.

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian who values relationship-centered care, collaborative practice, and helping clients heal their relationship with food and their bodies, while supporting medical nutrition needs without weight stigma or harm.

This role focuses primarily on individual outpatient nutrition counseling (in-person and virtual), along with documentation, care coordination, and collaboration with allied healthcare providers.

Why Join Branz Nutrition Counseling
HAES®-Aligned, Ethical Care

We practice nutrition therapy grounded in Health at Every Size®, Intuitive Eating, and eating-disorder–informed care. Our clinicians are supported in delivering care that prioritizes medical safety, autonomy, and long-term well-being over weight-centric outcomes.

Flexible Schedule & Autonomy

We believe sustainable clinicians provide the best care. Dietitians set schedules that align with their lives, offering a mix of in-person and virtual sessions, while maintaining predictable expectations and boundaries.

Mentorship, Supervision & Professional Development

Whether your passion is eating disorder care, GI health, sports nutrition, PCOS, or family-based work, we support specialization within a weight-inclusive framework. You'll receive:

  • Regular supervision and case consultation
  • Clinical skills trainings toward the Certifed Eating Disorder Consultant (CED-C) credentials through International Federation of Eating Disorer Professionails
  • Ongoing mentorship and collaborative learning
  • CEU and professional development support
Strong Administrative Support

Our admin team manages insurance credentialing, benefits verification, billing, scheduling, and client communication systems, allowing you to focus on clinical care—not paperwork.

Thoughtful Onboarding

New clinicians receive structured onboarding, EMR training, charting templates, and opportunities to shadow experienced dietitians so you feel confident, supported, and aligned from day one.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient nutrition counseling (in-person and virtual)
  • Complete documentation within one week using Practice Better templates
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and support client continuity of care
  • Coordinate with therapists, physicians, and other providers as appropriate

  • Maintain active licensure and continuing education requirements
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision, and case consults
  • Stay current on evidence-based practices relevant to populations served
  • Uphold confidentiality, ethical standards, and HIPAA compliance
Role Expectations
  • W-2 salaried employee
  • 36-38 flexible hours/week
  • 25 client hours/week target
  • Required evening hours until 6/7pm when first building up your caseload (1 weekly in-person, up to the first 90-days)
  • Option for 4-day workweek after 12 months
  • Documentation required within 24 hours
Compensation
  • 59,000-73,000
Benefits
