Job summary

Monte Nido Eating Disorder Center of Manhattan in New York, NY, is seeking a Full Time Group Facilitator to oversee structured clinical groups and provide meal support within a therapeutic milieu.

Responsibilities include coordinating CBT/DBT-based sessions, ensuring safety, and collaborating with clinical and nursing teams to integrate care plans. Monday–Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm, onsite; pay $21–$28/hr. Comprehensive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred.
• Experience treating eating disorders in residential or inpatient setting helpful.
• Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.

Responsibilities

• Group Therapy & Milieu-Based work: plan, structure, and facilitate clinical groups (e.g., CBT/DBT skills, coping strategies, relapse prevention).
• Meal & Snack Support: participate in and monitor daily meals and snacks, provide calm, supportive encouragement around food.
• Daily Client Care Support: direct client care within the program setting (check-ins, skill use support, brief interventions, meal support).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
