Job description

Position: Easy Rider - Host

Shifts: Brunch, Dinner, Late Night | Wednesday through Sunday

Type: Part Time, Full Time

Compensation: $10-12 + carryout tips

Easy Rider is a new diner-style restaurant in the heart of Fountain Square, serving brunch, dinner and late night food with a full bar.

Easy Rider is owned and operated by HI-FI Indianapolis, and is connected to HI-FI & HI-FI Annex - feeding from an active schedule of live concerts. Chef Ian Stricklindishes out menu favorites like Chilaquiles, Chicken & Waffles, Shrimp + Grits, Mac & Queso, Cubanos Fried Chicken and more. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner but it's no secret - we brunch hard. The restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday, with family friendly and adult bar seating, in the space formerly occupied by Pure Eatery.

We are currently hiring personable, experienced hosts for breakfast/brunch shifts as well as dinner and late night. Ideal candidates would have prior experience as a host in a fast-paced restaurant setting and/or managing carryout orders.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon entry and manage waitlist/reservations
• Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions
• Answering phone calls and executing take out orders
• Maintaining a rotation so that each server receives the right number of customers
• Help bus tables, and bring food to tables when servers are busy
• Maintain overall cleanliness of the main entrance
• Provide great customer service and recommendations with an excellent knowledge of the menu
• Assist concert guests with information on entrances and show times

Qualifications

• Must have prior restaurant experience
• Comfortable in a fast-paced setting and working under pressure
• Must be a certified ServeSafe food handler
• Must be able to kneel, squat, stand, bend, and lift up to 40lbs during shift
