Job summary

Transforming Age’s Eastmont Living in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Floor Tech (Custodian) to maintain floors and assist in keeping common areas pristine for residents. This role emphasizes reliability, a strong work ethic and high customer service standards in a community setting.

The position requires 18+ years old with 1–3 years floor care experience; training to operate shampooers and use floor care chemicals will be provided. Expect 5x8 hour shifts with competitive hourly pay from $16 to $18 DOE.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1–3 years floor care experience.
• Senior living/hospitality experience is not required but valued.
• Can-do attitude and work ethic.
• Able to operate shampooing machines and know floor care chemicals.
• Able to work 5 days/week, 8 hours/day.
• Self-motivated with desire for clean floors.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains all floors (carpet, LVT, tile, linoleum, wood).
• Keeps equipment and supplies clean, neat, organized, and filled.
• Sweeps, mops, shampoos and operates floor cleaning machines.
• Responds quickly to spills.
• Cleans and sanitizes public areas (hallways, restrooms, dining areas).
• Provides excellent customer service to residents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

We have a wonderful opportunity for a Floor Tech (Custodian) who would like to have a meaningful role where they are valued every day! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys keeping the community looking great, and have a passion for people who will appreciate your hard work.

The hourly rate for this role starts at $16.00 to $18.00 DOE.

What You Need To Succeed

Must be at least 18 years of age.

• One to three years floor care experience.
• Previous experience in a senior living community or hospitality setting is not required but is highly desired.
• Can-do attitude and work ethic.
• Must be able to operate shampooing machines and have knowledge of the floor care chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• Be able to reliably work 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.
• Self-motivated and a desire to have the cleanest floors in town.

Physical Requirements

• Be able to lift/push/pull or carry up to 50 lbs.
