Job description

We have a great opportunity for a full-time Dishwasher to join our team! This role is a vital part of our Dining Services operations and helps maintain the cleanliness and quality standards of our kitchen areas. Shift Details

Shift is 7am-3:30pm; must be able to work every other Saturday/Sunday and every other recognized holiday.

Responsibilities
  1. Monitor and record water temperature and sanitizer solution levels; notify management if levels are not correct.
  2. Understand and observe sanitary guidelines and environmental requirements.
  3. Use a commercial dishwashing machine and hand wash pots and pans.
  4. Set up and break down dishwashing equipment, including arms, screens, traps, and baskets; clean inside and outside; ensure proper operation.
  5. Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, garbage cans, and kitchen areas.
  6. Sweep and mop the kitchen floors.
  7. Deliver meal trays to residents unable to come to the dining room.
  8. Maintain the storage room for cleaning supplies and chemicals, keeping it clean, stocked, labeled, and organized.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. Must be at least 18 years old.
  2. Experience with kitchen organization is preferred.
  3. Good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
  4. Ability to assist with other kitchen duties occasionally.
