Job summary

Eastmont in Lincoln, NE, is seeking a part-time Diet Tech to join our Dining Services team. The role offers 10:15am–6:45pm shifts 5 days per week, including alternating Saturdays and Sundays and holidays, with a starting pay of $15.50 per hour or above DOE.

The position includes a supportive, family-like work environment, meal per shift, and opportunities for career growth in a growing organization.

• Must be mature, responsible and patient with residents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an extraordinary dining experience for our residents.
• Transport food to residents' dining rooms in health care areas.
• Maintain proper food temperatures at all times.
• Assist residents with meal service as requested.
• Process resident orders to ensure meals are served promptly.
• Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age and our Affiliates.

What you need to Succeed!

• Must be at least 18 years of age.


• Must be mature, responsible and patient with residents.


• Able to read, write, and speak English.


• Be organized, friendly and caring.


• Must be able to work 10:15am - 6:45pm 5 days per week including every other Sat & Sun and alternating religious, federal, and state/local holidays.


• CPR/first aid certification may be required per state/local guidelines.


• Completion of background check and drug screen. Pre employment screening may also include fingerprint, physical, and TB test depending on state/local guidelines.
