Eastern US Regional Sales Manager - Food

Remote / Reside in PA, NY, NJ. Responsible for maintaining and developing 30+ food distributors throughout Eastern US states, mainly in PA, NY, NJ, and FL.

Manufacturer of frozen, premium, all-natural sweet and savory flavors, purees, concentrates, and blends sold through distributors to restaurants, resorts and hotels, bars, cruise lines, and specialty gourmet manufacturers.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining and developing 30+ food distributors throughout Eastern US states, mainly in PA, NY, NJ, and FL. Focus on growing market share, customer satisfaction, exceeding the company's defined sales and profitability goals, and managing 1 Sales Representative.

Identify revenue-generating opportunities with distributor accounts, tracking trends, formulating methods to improve service and sales, capitalizing on new opportunities in utilizing sales reporting, online research, event leads, and other resources. Utilize CRM to capture all customer engagement.

Work with the Director of Sales in reviewing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual region sales and annual budget input for territory. Review communication strategy to cover operational support needs.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS required
  • 3+ years of experience in food sales and selling to foodservice distributors
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Excel daily
  • Ability to prepare and utilize 30/60/90-day planning
  • Data Analysis, Sales Reporting, Product Training, and Trade Show Planning
  • Able to travel approximately 50%. Airport accessibility required
  • Company conducts a background check, functionality test, and drug screen upon hiring

Benefits:
