Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH Company, seeks an Area Operations Manager to lead asphalt plant operations across East Texas. You will drive safe, efficient and profitable production while building high-performing teams and supporting business growth.

The role requires 10+ years in asphalt/construction, a relevant bachelor's degree, strong leadership, budgeting, and a focus on continuous improvement. Travel across facilities will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in asphalt operations, heavy civil construction, or related industries.
• Proven leadership overseeing production operations and field construction crews.
• Experience managing asphalt paving, roadway construction, or heavy civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and maintenance of multiple asphalt plants in East Texas.
• Foster a safety culture and develop high-performing teams.
• Drive production efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage budgets, maintenance programs, and capital projects.
• Collaborate with sales, construction, and customers to deliver projects.
