Job summary

Cooperative Farmers Elevator seeks a Regional Agronomy Sales Manager to lead growth across a defined geography. You will drive sales, profitability, and strategic account expansion while mentoring Agronomy staff and coordinating with product leadership to deliver integrated agronomic solutions.

You will manage 5–10 strategic accounts, align customer goals with seed, crop protection, nutrition, and precision ag offerings, and promote data-driven selling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agribusiness, Agricultural Business Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of agronomy sales experience; 3 years of leadership, coaching, or team development experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success in sales growth, customer relationship management, and business development; strong knowledge of seed, crop protection, crop nutrition, biologicals, and precision agriculture solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional sales strategies and business plans; recruit, coach, develop, and retain high-performing agronomy sales professionals.
• Provide field coaching through ride-alongs, customer visits, territory reviews, and performance discussions; establish clear expectations and development plans.
• Develop future sales leaders, support succession planning, and foster ownership, customer focus, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Manage and grow 5-10 strategic accounts; develop customer business plans that align agronomic solutions with customer goals.
• Support complex opportunities, serve as an escalation point for significant customer, operations, agronomic, or business concerns, and model consultative selling.
• Implement agronomy product, service, campaign, and growth priorities across the region; monitor performance.
