Job summary

Resource Label Group is seeking a Regional Estimating Manager for the East Region. You will lead estimators across multiple sites, standardize processes, and ensure accurate bids for folding cartons, labels, and print products.

Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service and Manufacturing to optimize cost, quality and manufacturability. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in estimating within printing/packaging, 3+ years in leadership, strong cost accounting knowledge, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in the printing or packaging industry.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience managing estimators or related teams.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cost accounting principles, material estimation, and production planning.
• Proficiency with estimating software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong mathematical skills and ability to read technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage a regional team of estimators across East Region.
• Establish and enforce standardized estimating methodologies and pricing.
• Review and approve complex estimates for folding cartons, print, and label products.
• Analyze RFQs, coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Pre-Press, and Manufacturing.
• Determine material and labor requirements and develop standard hours and overhead.
• Organize centralized cost estimating databases and collaborate with cost accounting.
• Conduct post-job cost analysis and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Consult with clients and vendors to discuss estimates and options.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
