RHI Magnesita, East Canton, OH, seeks a Quality Lead to head the site quality team and drive product reliability at our refractory manufacturing facility. You’ll uphold ISO 9001, lead audits, and push continuous improvement across production, technical, and customer-facing groups.

You will mentor quality technicians, foster safety culture, and deliver metrics that guide operational and strategic decisions, ensuring top-tier quality and customer satisfaction.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, or a related industrial environment.
• Experience in refractories, ceramics, metals, or materials processing is highly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO quality systems, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes.
• Proven ability to analyze data, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
• Leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Quality, or a related technical field preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management software tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple functions.

Quality Lead

As Quality Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring product consistency, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining the integrity of the plant's quality management systems. Based at our East Canton refractory manufacturing facility, you will lead a team of quality technicians, partner closely with production and technical teams, and help shape strategic decisions that impact plant performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
