Job summary

M&S Engineering LLC is seeking an Easement & Title Researcher at our Beaumont, Texas location to perform surface title research, easement research, and document preparation for electric distribution lines.

This role requires at least 2–4 years in title/research fields, a valid driver's license, and familiarity with AutoCAD and GIS tools. Salary is commensurate with experience and includes employer-sponsored health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum two-four years of title/research related experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• AAS/BS degree in a related field is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform fundamental surface title research to determine land ownership and easements.
• Conduct easement research and locate easements on maps from legal descriptions.
• Prepare deeds, exhibits, and documents; support ROW and permitting work.
• Coordinate with city staff, consultants, and landowners as needed.
