Hadco Construction is seeking an Earthwork GPS Specialist to support both office and field operations within our Heavy Civil Construction team in Lehi, Utah. You'll assist with earthwork modeling, plan takeoffs, GPS setup, and drone-data integration.

The ideal candidate is technically minded, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator who can move between modeling work and active construction sites, coordinating with field crews, surveyors, and engineers. Travel to jobsites is expected.

Formación

• 1–3 years in heavy civil construction or surveying.
• Experience with earthwork and GPS tech.
• Ability to read civil construction drawings.
• Strong computer and tech troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with earthwork plan takeoffs and the development of earthwork models.
• Review grading, utility, site, footing, foundation, and structural plans.
• Understand elevations, contours, slopes, and surface designs.
• Support the setup and operation of GPS systems for field crews.
• Troubleshoot GPS equipment, software, and field connectivity issues.
• Provide ongoing GPS-related support across active projects.
• Integrate drone data into earthwork models and project information.
• Compare surface designs with survey stakes, field conditions, and engineered designs.
• Assist with verifying model accuracy and identifying discrepancies.
• Coordinate with field crews, project teams, surveyors, engineers, and other departments.
• Maintain organized project files, models, revisions, and GPS information.
• Travel to jobsites as needed to support field operations.
