Job summary

Hadco Construction in Lehi, UT is seeking an experienced Trackhoe Operator to join our team. This role focuses on safely and efficiently operating a track hoe on excavation projects while supporting crews to meet deadlines.

You will prepare daily timecards, identify hazards, and maintain clean, safe work areas. We value dependability, safety, and the ability to lift 50 lbs, with opportunities across our Utah sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating a track hoe.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Must be at least 18 with legal work status and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Hadco Construction is seeking an experienced Trackhoe Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a track hoe on various excavation projects while supporting crews in completing work on time and to standard.

What You’ll Do

• Operate trackhoe to effectively complete all assigned jobs within designated time limits
• Prepare daily electronic timecards for projects, including multiple tasks, machines, and employees, itemized for proper billing
• Identify hazards associated with task assignments and seek clarification when needed
• Maintain clean and safe work areas (remove debris, trash, snow, and ice as required)
• Direct laborers and other employees to complete tasks within specified time limits
• Follow OSHA guidelines and lockout/tagout procedures
• Comply with all company safety policies, practices, and procedures; report unsafe activities to supervisors and safety managers

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating a track hoe
• Basement digging experience preferred
• Hardworking, dependable, and safety-conscious
• Ability to lift, carry, and transfer 50 lbs. or more continuously
• Must be at least 18 years old with valid documentation to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

• Frequent lifting, carrying, and movement of 50+ lbs.
• Regular climbing, kneeling, crouching, and operation of heavy equipment
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and noise
• Exposure to typical construction site hazards, including moving machinery and uneven ground
