Job summary

Chevron is seeking entry-level Earth Scientists for 2026-2027 full-time roles across the U.S., including Houston, TX and Covington, LA. Earth Scientists join multi-disciplinary teams and work on exploration, development, reservoir characterization, and well operations.

Recent graduates enter the Horizons Program with formal training, on-the-job learning, mentorship, and multiple assignments. Relocation may be considered.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in geology, geophysics, geological engineering or related fields.
• Less than 2 years post-graduate experience preferred.
• Strong academic performance and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to exploration, development, reservoir characterization and well operations.
• Work within multidisciplinary teams including geoscience, engineering and data science.
• Attend mentoring and training sessions as part of early-career development.
