JR Communications is seeking an experienced Communications Strategist to support our growing roster of clients. We are a nimble, full-service strategic communications firm that supports nonprofits, corporations, and mission-driven organizations nationwide.

The Communications Strategist will provide expert client management, identify and pitch compelling story angles, attend client meetings and events, develop earned media strategies, and secure coverage across media channels.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in earned media.
• Familiarity with the DMV market.
• Strong writing and pitching skills.
• Experience with emerging media channels, including podcasts, Substack, and other digital outlets.
