Job summary

Walgreens in New York is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a patient-centric team. You will assist the pharmacist under supervision, process prescriptions, and help build strong relationships with customers.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Six months retail experience preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Assist pharmacists under supervision with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in dispensing under direct supervision.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems.
• Process prescriptions and check for drug interactions.
• Maintain inventory and stock levels in the pharmacy.
• Provide excellent customer service and patient care.
