Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Strong computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Process prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications and enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and assist with sales at the OTC aisle when possible.
• Support pharmacy team with inventory management and coordination of clinical services as needed.
