Job summary

Kids Planet Weybridge is seeking an Early Years Apprentice to join our caring team. You’ll be enrolled on a training programme through the Kids Planet Training Academy to gain a qualification in Early Years, supporting children from birth to age five and learning safeguarding practices.

We offer accredited training, a supportive central team, and a plan for progression, with a focus on wellbeing and family engagement throughout your apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Minimum apprenticeship eligibility: lived in the UK for at least 3 years.
• Pass maths and English entry assessments.
• Level 2 apprenticeships take approximately 15 months to complete; Level 3 apprenticeships take approximately 18 months to complete.

Responsibilities

• By learning how to support, care for, and inspire children during their earliest years, from birth to age five.
• Through learning how to ensure the safeguarding of children in your care.
• By learning how to work as part of a successful team.
• Through building warm, trusting relationships with families through kind, open communication.
• Liaising with parents on matters relating to the most important person in their world.

What an Early Years Apprentice needs:

To meet minimum apprenticeship eligibility criteria, including having lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years.
