Job summary

Central Minnesota Jobs and Training Services, Inc. is seeking a temporary election worker to assist with early voting at Columbia Heights City Hall. The assignment is 40+ hours per week and runs from approximately 10/14/2026 to 11/06/2026, with some evenings and weekend shifts required.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and eligible Minnesota voter, fluent in English, and must not be closely related to any election judge or candidate in the same precinct.

This is a temporary, 40+ hour per week position with a primary focus on assisting with early voting at Columbia Heights City Hall.

Required: Must be a USA citizen and an eligible voter in the State of Minnesota. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Must not be the spouse, parent, stepparent, child, stepchild, sibling, or stepsibling of any election judge serving in the same precinct or of any candidate at that election. Must not be domiciled, either permanently or temporarily, with any candidate on the ballot at that election. Must not be a candidate at that election.

Anticipated start date is 10/14/2026, with the position concluding on or about 11/06/2026. Hours are primarily 8:00 am - 4:45 pm, Monday-Friday, but will require evening work on Tuesday, 10/27/2026, and weekend hours on Saturday, 10/24/2026; Saturday, 10/31/2026; and Sunday, 11/01/2026.
