Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a Project Manager Level 1 on a 1-year contract to manage the Early Stage development of high‑voltage transmission and substation projects in the U.S. and Canada.

This role focuses on pre-construction activities, coordinating Engineering, Estimating, Supply Chain, and Construction to deliver execution-ready plans. You will lead scope, budget, schedule, procurement, permitting, and land efforts, ensuring defined risks and mitigations.

Qualifications

• Lead development of scope, budget, and schedule for ES projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Development, Land, Environmental, Legal, Regulatory, Procurement, Engineering, and Operations.
• Prepare competitive sourcing through RFPs for engineering and construction services.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of project plans with focus on execution, cost, and schedule.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including Development, Land, Environmental, Legal, Regulatory, Procurement, Engineering, and Operations.
• Manage integration across scope, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare RFP packages to source services.
• Support Estimating with detailed scope and assumptions.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Provide progress, issue, and risk updates to management.
