Job summary

Westaff in Lowell, MA is seeking a dependable Material Handler for the 1st shift (5:00 AM – 1:30 PM). You will receive and inspect shipments, log data in the WMS, label and store inventory, and operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift.
• Forklift experience is a plus, but training is available.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Enter receiving information into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Label, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Replenish inventory and accurately pick customer orders.
• Stage, pack, wrap, palletize, and prepare products for shipment.
• Assist with inventory transfers, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and report inventory discrepancies or damages.
• Support warehouse operations and assist with other duties as needed.
