Job summary

FedEx is seeking a dependable dock worker in Grand Junction, Colorado. You will operate equipment to move packages, assist with pallet build/breakdown, and coordinate with the ULD repair vendor as needed.

This is a safety-sensitive role requiring physical stamina and the ability to work in a noisy environment. Starting pay is $18.41 per hour, with overtime to $24.73, and full benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend, squat, and maneuver heavy packages.
• Able to work in all weather conditions when required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient operation of equipment for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assist in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
