Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers in Morristown, TN seeks a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide individual counseling and clinical assessments for patients with opioid use disorder. You will design and update treatment plans, coordinate care, and discharge planning while managing a caseload and collaborating with nurses and providers.

Experience with underserved populations is preferred; lived addiction experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• General experience working with underserved populations in a clinical setting.
• Lived addiction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual counseling to highly complex patients
• Conducts clinical assessments to appropriately assess patient’s treatment needs
• Designs and updates the patient’s treatment plan, including care coordination, referrals, and discharge planning
• Manages assigned caseload and compliance with clinical treatment requirements
• Collaborates with nurses and providers to provide holistic treatment services
• Facilitates urine drug screening for patients
