Job summary

Tesker Manufacturing Corporation in Saukville, WI is seeking a CNC Thread Grinding Operator for the early shift (4:00 AM–12:00 PM, Monday–Friday). No prior thread grinding experience is required; training will be provided to learn our equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• No prior thread grinding experience required; we will provide training.
• Previous machine shop or CNC machining experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand basic machining dimensions and tolerances.
• Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable and comfortable working an early-morning schedule.
• Willingness to learn a specialized machining process.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC thread grinding machines for dies and tooling.
• Load/position workpieces, tooling, fixtures, and grinding wheels.
• Make adjustments to meet specifications.
• Read blueprints, routings, process sheets, and job instructions.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensions and quality.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools.
• Maintain clean, organized work area.
• Monitor grinding conditions and wheel wear; adjust as needed.
• Work independently and communicate with machinists and supervisors.
