Job summary

Electrolux Home Products, Inc. in Springfield, TN is seeking an Assembly Support worker for the 1st shift starting at 4:00am. You will assist the Assembly department to ensure high-quality products are produced on time and will backfill for absenteeism as needed.

You will train associates under supervision, follow safety and quality standards, and maintain an efficient work area. This role involves handling insulation, using air and hand tools, and standing through long shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be assessed and standard maintained (3/4 boxes) in four jobs in current zone.
• Clear and concise English communication, both verbal and written.
• Read and write English; able to work with insulation.
• Able to use air and hand tools to perform duties.
• Able to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs repetitively.
• Stand for the majority of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Support Assembly department to produce high-quality, on-time products.
• Assist supervisor with training and quality issue follow-up; backfill for absenteeism.
• Support assembly area to meet Electrolux safety, cost, quality and delivery standards.
• Proactively solve problems to prevent accidents and quality issues.
• Follow workstation details standards and log non-essential items using Red Tag Log.
• Maintain organized, efficient work environment per EMS principles.
• Assist in Team Board assignments.
