WSP is seeking an Early Career Civil Engineer to join the Small Utility Services Team in Fort Worth, TX. You will support electric utility projects, contribute to design of substations, transmission lines, and distribution systems, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate engineering deliverables.
Ideal candidates have a BSCE from ABET-accredited program, 0–2 years of experience, and a strong foundation in civil engineering principles.
WSP is currently initiating a search for an Early Career Civil Engineer to join our Small Utility Services Team in Fort Worth, TX.
The candidate will be involved in projects supporting electric utility clients and will be part of a growing organization that meets our clients’ objectives and solves their challenges. Takes part in providing engineering support for utility infrastructure projects involving substations, transmission lines, and distribution systems. Tasks may include assisting with civil and structural design, site development, grading and drainage design, foundation design, construction support, and engineering analyses for utility-scale projects. Generates accurate and concise engineering deliverables and documentation regarding assigned aspects of projects. Ensures that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards for design, safety, and functionality.

Compensation:
Expected Salary (all locations): $60,600 - $100,000
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
