Job summary

Tennessee Oncology is seeking an Early Phase Clinical Research Nurse to provide patient-centered care in early phase oncology trials at the Greco Hainsworth Center for Research. You will work with the PI, investigators, and a multidisciplinary team to coordinate protocol-required assessments and safety monitoring.

The role requires strong clinical judgment, GCP knowledge, and meticulous documentation, with responsibilities spanning consent, enrollment, education, PK/PD sample handling, and data

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee and/or Georgia.
• BSN preferred or ADN with relevant clinical/research experience.
• 5 years clinical nursing and 1 year oncology nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for early phase trials from screening to follow-up.
• Review protocols, eligibility, schedules, and safety requirements.
• Assess and report adverse events and manage PK/PD sample collection.
• Educate participants on study requirements and treatment expectations.
• Administer investigational products and manage vascular access.
• Ensure accurate data entry into EMR and research systems.
