Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years transportation supervisory or related experience including knowledge of DOT and safety regulations, plus experience in fleet management systems.
• Class A CDL certification is required.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to work across departments to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
• Schedules deliveries and pickups to ensure timely service; rides with drivers for training/evaluation.
• Assists in administration of transportation and delivery functions; reviews logs and expense reports.
• Ensures DOT/OpCo compliance; maintains driver paperwork and incident reporting.
• Oversees vehicle maintenance via post-trip inspections and safety checks.
• Works with managers to minimize costs and optimize routing.
