The Michaels Companies, Inc. is hiring for a store associate role in Annapolis, MD. You will help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram tasks while maintaining in-stock conditions and following SOPs.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience and can engage customers about rewards programs and store services. Availability for varied shifts, including weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move store items.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
