General Purpose

The Retail Associate ensures our Customers have a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include greeting customers, treating colleagues with respect, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring proper merchandise presentation. The Associate performs various tasks across the store as needed to meet customer service and operational goals.

Essential Functions

• Prioritize safety by practicing safe behaviors and maintaining a secure shopping environment.
• Assist Customers courteously, handle transactions accurately, and respond promptly to customer needs.
• Support store cleanliness by performing cleaning tasks regularly.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
• Ensure merchandise is well-organized and replenished according to company standards.
• Support loss prevention and merchandise protection standards.
• Handle cash and transactions accurately, following all policies.
• Work efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize steps in workflow.

Qualifications And Skills

Effective communication with Customers, Colleagues, and Leadership in a friendly manner. Basic math skills necessary for retail tasks.

Physical Requirements/Ada

• Ability to operate store equipment, spend time standing, walking, and moving around the store.
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
• Ability to lift over 25 pounds occasionally.
• For Stockroom shifts: ability to push, pull, and lift over 20 pounds regularly.
