General Purpose:

The Retail Associate ensures a positive shopping experience by greeting customers, maintaining cleanliness, proper merchandise presentation, and performing various store functions as needed. They may perform additional tasks to meet customer service and operational goals.

Essential Functions:

• Prioritize safety and maintain awareness to ensure a secure shopping environment.
• Greet customers courteously, assist with merchandise, and handle customer questions professionally.
• Respond promptly to customer service needs and resolve issues courteously.
• Support the company brand and perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold store standards.
• Ensure merchandise is received, organized, and presented according to guidelines.
• Follow loss prevention policies and safeguard confidential information.
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, following all policies.
• Work with a sense of urgency to maximize productivity.

Qualifications and Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively and perform basic mathematical calculations. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and use store equipment as required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to use store equipment including registers and PCs.
• Stand, walk, and move around the store up to 100% of the time.
• Perform bending, squatting, reaching, and lifting over 25 pounds as needed.
• For stockroom shifts, ability to lift over 20 pounds regularly.
