Job summary

Michaels, located in Maplewood, MN, is hiring a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and maintain a well-stocked, in-stock store. You will help customers locate products, process checkouts, and participate in omnichannel tasks like BOPIS and SFS.

Responsibilities include merchandising, truck unloading, planograms, and supporting safety programs. Prior retail experience is preferred; flexibility for nights/weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloads, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance; manage returns/go backs and store recovery.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact respectfully with customers and team members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
