Job summary

Gimme Coffee, Inc. is seeking a production baker for The Bakery at Gimme, the exclusive supplier for Gimme! Coffee. This role is hands-on, early morning, with weekend and holiday needs, averaging 35-40 hours weekly across Sunday-Thursday.

Under bakery director, you will measure ingredients, prep ovens, bake pastries, and help with daily cleaning and sanitation. Experience and passion for baking are valued; training is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• Previous production baking experience preferred but not required.
• Strong tasting and smelling abilities are essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Accurately measures and mixes ingredients per recipes.
• Opens the bakery and starts ovens as early as 3am.
• Bakes for Gimme! Coffee locations and wholesale accounts.
• Maintains daily prep, bakes items like scones, muffins, croissants, and pastries.
• Adjusts recipes and par sheets to manage production.
• Ensures product quality and communicates issues promptly.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment; minimal waste; supports team.
